Is my website address registration (Domain) included in the monthly fee?
The Yellow Pages domain is included in the monthly fee , but a co.za domain is not included in the two basic packages. You have to take the Professional Package or Personal Pro package for this.
Is my address personalized or is it shared?
It is personalized. When you register you can choose a domain name and we will check if that if it is available or not, if it is then it gets registered for you, if not you have to choose another name.
How much do SMS’s cost and does it cost clients to reply to SMS’s?
SMS’s will cost you R250.00 for 500 SMS’s and these sms credits remain on your account until you use them, and they do not expire. There is no reply path currently
What does the advanced package include and how much does is cost?
The advanced package includes unlimited web space, 50 contact form SMS’s as well as a shopping basket for R370pm via debit order, plus the other features included in the breakdown on the site.
How do I know if my phone has MMS ( Multi Media, ability to send and receive pictures, sounds etc.) capability?...
Generally if your phone has a colour display or a built in camera then it is MMS capable.
How do I activate my MMS?
If you are a Vodacom subscriber type *111# on your handset and follow the prompts. If you are a MTN subscriber type *123*12# and follow the prompts. If you are Cell C sms the word mms to 084 155 9911
If I have lost one of my web pages where do I find it?
If you have lost a page, go to the tree ( this is the list of items on your tool bar) open the page and click on change properties, then under options check (tick) the box that says “show this page” in the menu.
When I upload a “zip” file, and it doesn’t upload properly , why does it do that and how do i fix it?
Chances are you haven’t created a true zip file, this function only allows zip files to be uploaded. If it is a single image that you need to upload please select the icon to the left (insert image) and you can then do it. If it is multiple images that you want to upload at once , then you will need to install the winzip program. Please go to www.winzip.com to download WinZip , install it and follow the installation instructions
Are the web and mail box hosting costs included in the cost of R 245 for the Personal Pro?

Do you renew the domain names annually? – I currently do all my web/email through another ISP (Internet Service Provider)
Domains are renewed annually and are part of the top 2 packages. Or you can pay for it separately as a once off. Or you have the option to move it to this account.
Is there a limit to the amount of information one page can hold?
• 1. The page can hold up to 400meg of data, however this amount of data is not recommended as it will take hours to download the site, and clients will not wait for the long download, keep it short and to the point.
• 2. A good idea is to always apply the 3 click rule when creating a website your client must be able to find what they want with in 3 clicks of landing on your site.
Are emails are sent and received using Outlook and not via the dashboard/website?
Mail can be accessed via Webmail from the dashboard
POP3 setting will enable you to download the mail to outlook.
• 1. The pop3 settings are: mail.yellowpagesweb.co.za then your normal other mail settings
• 2. Use the IMAP setting in Outlook. (this will leave a copy of the mail in your inbox)
